Qiqihar South Station is a first-class station. It is the terminus of Harbin-Qiqihar High-speed Railway, an important departure station of Harbin-Qiqihar High-speed Railway, the largest dedicated station of Harbin-Qiqihar High-speed Railway, and the northernmost high-speed railway station in China. It is under the jurisdiction of China Railway Harbin Bureau Group Co., Ltd. It is located at No. 1 Nenjiang Ring Road, Qiqihar High-tech Zone. It covers an area of 50,000 square meters, a total construction area of 67,962 square meters, a station building area of 29,957 square meters, and a platform column canopy area of 26,948 square meters. The total investment is 500 million yuan. It has high platforms, automatic ticket machines and other equipment that modern railway stations have. There is Qiqihar Highway Passenger Transport Hub South Station on the northwest side of the station, which is convenient for highway and railway transfers. The station was officially put into use on August 17, 2015.
