Libo County, under the jurisdiction of Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, is located in the southern part of Guizhou Province. It borders Congjiang County and Rongjiang County of Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture in the northeast, Huanjiang County and Nandan County of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in the southeast, Dushan County in the west, and Sandu Shui Autonomous County in the north. It has an area of 2,431.8 square kilometers and a population of 172,800 (2010).
