Huazhong University of Science and Technology

Huazhong University of Science and Technology is a key comprehensive university directly under the Ministry of Education of China. It was established on May 26, 2000 by merging the former Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Tongji Medical University, and Wuhan Institute of Urban Construction. It is one of the key universities in the national "211 Project" and "985 Project", and is one of the first batch of "Double First-Class" universities.
