The South Campus of Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University is located at No. 33 Yingfeng Road, Haizhu District, Guangzhou. It is an important part of our hospital's medical, teaching, and scientific research work. It is a medical institution approved by the National Health and Family Planning Commission (formerly the Ministry of Health) and established in accordance with the "unified management model" and independently built by our hospital. The campus was officially established and put into use in January 2002.

The South Campus covers a total area of ​​about 18,800 m2, with a construction area of ​​117,000 m2. There are currently 1,053 open beds, an annual outpatient and emergency volume of more than 700,000 people, an annual inpatient volume of nearly 40,000 people, and an annual number of surgical cases of nearly 30,000 people. The specialties opened in the inpatient department include: endocrinology, cardiovascular medicine, digestive medicine, nephrology, hepatobiliary surgery, pancreatic and biliary surgery, breast tumor medicine, gastrointestinal surgery, vascular thyroid surgery, urology, orthopedics, neurosurgery, plastic surgery, pediatric surgery, gynecological tumors, pediatrics (pediatric neurology, endocrinology, cardiovascular), neurology (cerebrovascular disease), otolaryngology, interventional radiology, radiotherapy, intensive care unit (ICU), and general medicine. The supporting service platforms of the hospital include: radiology, ultrasound, laboratory, pathology, cell molecular diagnosis center, operating room, anesthesia, endoscopy center, blood transfusion, intravenous configuration center, and disinfection supply center. After 14 years of sustained and rapid development, through continuous discipline planning and resource integration, the hospital's medical business indicators have grown rapidly, the medical technology is strong, and the radiation influence and brand penetration are constantly increasing, making outstanding contributions to protecting the health of the people.
